Welcommen to our special coverage of the celebration in Copenhagen on 16. april 2000, when the royal couple rode through the city in an open carriage.

A few minutes past 3 pm, shortly after they left the residence, the open horse drawn carriage turns around Amalienborg Slotsplads, and heads for Marmorkirken. Yours truly ran to the barricades and found an opening, just as they passed. The Nikon F2 automatics did the rest. (Paper print 10x13cm, scanned in 300 dpi/24 bit color, cropped and postprocessed in GNU's Gimp.) More pictures in the Photo Gallery
